Permanent Cosmetics, Permanent Makeup, Micropigmentation and Cosmetic Tattoo are terms all describing the same thing; the tattooing of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin with needles. Other terms such as “semi-permanant makeup,lineology and dermalogy” are sometimes used wrongly to mislead the consumer to believe they are receiving something other than a tattoo There is no such thing as a “dermalogist or lineologist”.
